What Causes Snoring

Having large tonsils and adenoids will also create an obstruction that could even develop into the dangerous sleep apnea condition. Some of the natural abnormalities like enlarged tonsils, deviated septum and bigger than usual throat tissue have a genetic factor associated to them.
Sleeping on ones back can also increase the chances of being a snorer; doing this can make your tongue to fall back on your throat and block the air passage. Males and older people have narrower air passages which increase even more the chances of loud snoring. Snoring is more than a loud sound it can have serious health repercussions.

Not all people that snores have sleep apnea but a great percent of them do. Insomnia can be the result of having a partner that snores a lot or the snorer is unable to find appropriate rest. The sleep deprivation effects of the insomnia includes: lack of concentration on your work and other activities like: driving, depression, mood swings, etc. When you can’t sleep well the body is severely affected both physically and mentally.
